Memory foam mattresses are composed of a viscoelastic foam and they are usually supported by a layer of polyurethane foam which serves as a base to support the memory foam, but also to allow the mattress to disperse more easily humidity and heat. The supporting structure and the stiffening edges are made of high-strength polyurethane foam to better support every movement of the patient. The internal surface is in viscoelastic material and it allows perfect adhesion of the mattress on articulated beds and facilitates sanitization by operators or the replacement of any damaged parts reducing maintenance cost. Available in single or divided into 3 sections – suitable for adjustable and articulated hospital beds, it can be requested in customized sizes, choosing fireproof or non-fireproof material. The peculiar squares on surface create air ventilation which allows reducing the patient’s sweating and favoring skin breathability.
