Baby Pod is a positioning device designed to replicate the baby’s position in the womb, ensuring a comfortable environment and fetal-like positioning. It provides 360° containment thanks to a high-performance stretch fabric, allowing the newborn to move and stretch and then naturally return to a contained, flexed, midline position. This freedom of movement within elastic containment plays an essential role in early nervous system development, providing continuous proprioceptive input that supports muscle learning and gives the brain sensory feedback about limb position and movement. The design includes a padded headrest, a pocket, and two lateral wings that provide circumferential containment similar to the intrauterine environment: the longer wing is secured posteriorly to promote shoulder flexion and keep the hands close to the face. Baby Pod is available in three sizes, both in a reusable machine-washable version (CTBB218) and a disposable version (CTBB219).
