We are pleased to make available an interesting document thought for all medical and health facilities and all professionals involved in the treatment of patients undergoing long hospitalization. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, it has emerged that intensive and sub-intensive care units have also found themselves facing the problem of pressure sores; problems already known, of course, and well known to many other departments and disciplines, but certainly involved in the possibility of guaranteeing a faster recovery in seriously ill patients. Thanks to the contribution of Manuela Tronchini, a physiotherapist with great direct experience, the main positions that the patient can take are examined and the methods and devices recommended for each situation are highlighted in a simple way.
